Starting Week 46

Starting from the midpoint of last week I developed severe pain in the left side, neck, upper back and below the left shoulder. Doctor said its muscle related and now I need to take a break from exercise and take Ibuprofen and a muscle relaxant. However on Monday this just started intensifying and I suspect the muscle relaxant does make it worse. I will test this hypothesis this evening. 

 

I am doing decently with not using my headphones however I cannot detect a meaningful shift in itchiness or ear related afflictions. Too early to tell. The observation environment (aka my body) is also too noisy with all this pain and weird stuff.

 

On the Weekend I overate significantly. 7000 cals, 4300 cals and then on monday 3000 cals. This just evaporated my hard earned progress from last week. However I am determined to get the next 7 days in a row. I also want to give my stomach a rest as the abs currently have to work overtime because of the back issue.

I am also not rested well because of sleep. I will drop caffeine though so that my sleep can improve and I am not spiraling any further.

 

Tapping into infinity pools yesterday and the day before also depleted energy and more significantly motivation. 

 

A lot of these non-desired behaviours have been favored this weekend by 2 things (and caffeine). The escalating back related pain is a major reason to seek distraction. I don’t want to feel the pain. 
The other cause seems to be related to my weekly pause of ADHD meds. I noticed although not subjectively significant enough to notice in my modd that this pause does significantly increases dopamine seeking behaviours. Possibly to cover the resultant dip in the absence of Ritaling or Elvanse.
